Back on the subject of Arnica…

We recently had an incident. My toddler threw her eye into the corner of a desk, then came to me screaming. Under her eye was starting to puff and huge crocodile tears created a very sad scene.

I knew just what to do though. I scooped her up and ran to the bathroom. Not to clean her wound. Not to get a cold compress. Not to get tissue.

To get the homeopathic Arnica.

I knew I had only about fifteen minutes to get the Arnica in her system to prevent bruising. I also knew that every moment that went by, the harder it would be for the Arnica to prevent swelling and bruising and the pain that accompanies the swelling and bruising.

After the dose of Arnica I gave a bunch of forehead kisses, and I cleaned the area to prevent infection. Before long, the swelling was gone, and all that was left was a tiny cut. She had no bruising and no swelling.

In the event of an injury more significant than minor toddling mishaps, remember, arnica can not take the place of a doctor.

I love the arnica and the bumps and bruises, both are amazing! I have had very similar results numerous times and they are in my house and also another set goes with me when I go out, they are great to have in an emergency. Looks like I will have to make a trip to the store to buy silver though. Glad to see she is doing so well after such a tough bump.

I know you really like to use stuff once you know how great it is sometimes Jen, and one thing about the silver you should know is you CAN overuse it, unlike the other things I tell you about. So, do yourself a huge favor and get the Futurebiotics version at 10ppm (parts per million.) then you don’t have to be cautious with it hardly at all. 🙂

  2. Thanks, Dawn, for sharing this experience. So sorry about your daughter’s fall – that’s a scary place on the face to hit! I am not very familiar with the silver colloidal you used; however wanted to see if you’re familiar with our Calendula lotion as well. We’ve heard very positive reviews on how well it helps to ease cuts and minimize scarring. Just wanted to share that. If we can ever be of help to you, please let us know. Thanks! Mary
